The National Palace Museum is an art museum in Taipei, Taiwan. The collection encompasses over 8,000 years of Chinese history from the Neolithic age to the late Qing Dynasty. Most of the collection are high quality pieces collected by China's ancient emperors. How to get there . . . take the subway Red Line to the Jiantan Station . . . then take a bus and will stop right infront of the museum . . . can't remember what bus number it was already just ask people around ya . . .hehehe
The building is just beautiful . . . and it is huge!!! . . .
Too bad . . . no photo taking are allowed inside the museum so didn't have any shots inside the building . . . wanted to take a few snaps though but are just too much CCTV hahahaha . . .
The entrance fee to the museum is NTD160.00 . . . worth it? to me yes definitely . . . able to see some great China's invention in there!!! . . . and crazy miniature crafting which they put a magnifier to let you see the details . . . but do prepare to spend some hours in there if you plan to go around the whole museum . . .
by the way . . . The displays are rotated once every three months . . . only 60,000 pieces can be viewed in a year and it would take nearly 12 years to see them all!!! . . .
